UltraDome Doming Resins: Dispensing Formula

 

Part Format: Circle       

D = Diameter of circle (cm)
T = Thickness of the domed part (cm)
G= Ultradome™ Resin specific  gravity
V = Volume of Resin per part (mL)
W + Weight/Mass of resin per part (g) 
V = ¶/6 x (3/4 x D² + T²) x T
W = V x G

Part Format: Ellipse

L = Length of largest axis (cm)
S = Length of smallest axis (cm)
T = Thickness of the domed part (cm)
G = Ultradome™ Resin specific gravity
V = Volume of resin per part (mL)
W = Weight/mass of resin per part (g)
V = 4/3 x ¶ x L/2 x S/2 x T
W = V x G
   

Example:
D = 2cm
T = 0.15cm
G = 1.05
V = 0.24 mL/part
W = 0.25g/part

Part Format: Rectangle                                                                                
Example:

L  = Length (cm)
D = Width (cm)
T =  Thickness of the domed part (cm)
G = Ultradome™ Resin specific gravity
V = Volume of resin per part (mL)
W =  Weight/Mass of resin per part (g)

V = L x D x T
W = V x G

Example:
L = 2 cm
D = 1 cm
T = 0.15cm
G = 1.05
V = 0.30 mL/part
W = 0.32g/part








Example:

L = 2cm
S = 1cm
T = 0.15cm
G = 1.05
V = 0.3mL/part
W = 0.33g/part
